Why Women Need a Health Partner in 2022?

Why Every woman Need a Health Partner in 2022?

Womanhood is beautiful but complex…

Do you know that your brain and body go through dynamic changes during every stage of womanhood – puberty, pregnancy, motherhood, and menopause? Taking care of your body is crucial at every stage.

As a family counselor, specializing in women’s issues, I often talk to women at various stages in life – girls, young adults, pregnant ladies, and mothers.

While I was teaching a seminar in a college about “WOMEN AND SEXUALITY” a professor commented like this, “mam, what you do is wonderful, even parents don’t teach such things to their children”

Right after giving a talk about “SELF IMAGE” in a girls’ college, a group of students surrounded me at the exit and said something like this, “mam, please come to our college often, nobody teaches us such life lessons”

I have personally heard from individuals, “if someone had taught this to me ten years ago, I wouldn’t have committed such and such blunders in life”

Through Mom’s Manna, my desire is to be a true Health Partner to women like you. I seek to provide information that will help you to

1) Care for your physical, mental, and emotional health

2) Effectively manage the womanhood complexities and

3) Make the journey of womanhood easy for you.

The Importance of SELF CARE

Women are constantly bombarded with messages to look good and to conform to the beauty ideals of society.

They are expected to be sexy, smart, strong, and successful all the time.

Have you ever felt sick of people’s unrealistic expectations of you? It’s time to take care of yourself.

Self-care is not only a necessity for women – but it also has many benefits.

In this digital era, our lives are so busy and full of stress.

Studies have shown that self-care has been shown to have a positive impact on an individual’s productivity.

In order to maintain a healthy balance, it is important to be aware of the ways in which we take care of ourselves.

This may include maintaining proper sleep hygiene, sticking to a balanced diet, limiting media time, or taking a break from social media.

It can also entail more in-depth self-care techniques such as meditation, mindful walking in nature, and more.

MANAGING WOMANHOOD COMPLEXITIES

Adolescence, contraception, sexual harassment, education, pregnancy, motherhood, early aging, overwork, obesity, low self-esteem, hormonal issues, and stress.

These are just some of the complexities that encompass womanhood today.

Young girls are faced with conflicting messages about what it means to be a girl or a woman.

As women, our identities are constantly being challenged, questioned, and twisted in order to be more “acceptable” in society.

Women today are more educated and ambitious than ever before yet we still face obstacles in society that make it harder for us to reach our goals.

A woman who can manage the complications of a woman’s life well can be attractive in a way that is endearing.

MAKING THE WOMANHOOD JOURNEY EASY

The ultimate purpose of Mom’s Manna is to make the womanhood journey easy for you.

Here are three simple steps to make your womanhood journey beautiful.

Preparing for the next stage of womanhood well ahead of time saves you so much hassle!

You’ll know what to expect and you’ll be prepared to handle it better.

It is a common misconception that the only time one can prepare for womanhood is during adolescence.

In reality, there are a wide variety of ways to prepare for womanhood and parenthood, and adults of all ages can do so throughout their lives.

Preparing for Puberty:

Different people have different reactions when going through puberty.

Some have a hard time adjusting to the changes in their bodies, while others do not.

If you are approaching puberty and want to prepare for what is coming, here are some steps that can be taken

1) Research on the internet about the changes that will take place in your body when going through puberty

2) Find out who you can talk to and ask for help if needed (parents, friends, teachers, doctors, etc.)

Preparing for Pregnancy:

It is necessary to prepare for pregnancy.

There are some things that you can do before you get pregnant that will make the process easier.

  • If you are overweight or obese or have had gestational diabetes in a previous pregnancy, speak to your doctor about reducing your weight before getting pregnant.
  • If you have had complications with your pregnancies in the past, talk with your doctor about ways to reduce the risks of complications during future pregnancies.
  • If you smoke or drink alcohol regularly, quit now! Smoking and drinking can lead to serious health problems for both mother and baby.
  • Start taking prenatal vitamins at least three months before getting pregnant; this will help ensure that your body is getting everything it needs for a healthy pregnancy.

*Avoid contact with people who may be sick.

Preparing for Motherhood:

Motherhood is the most rewarding and difficult thing a woman can do.

So preparation for motherhood starts as early as possible, including for those who are not yet pregnant.

There are many things that one can do to prepare for motherhood.

The first step in preparing for motherhood is to recognize that you will need to be a full-time caregiver and prepare your body accordingly.

It may be a good time to talk with your doctor about your plans and discuss what kind of birth control methods or supplementation may work best for you.

You should also consider how becoming a mom will affect your work, finances, relationships, and other aspects of life you care about –

-this will help give you focus on what kind of resources you’ll need over the next few years.

Preparing for Menopause:

Menopause is the point in a woman’s life when her periods stop.

This can happen gradually or it may happen more abruptly.

Menopause usually happens between the ages of 45 and 55, but can happen as early as 30 or as late as 60.

The female body goes through hormonal changes during menopause that have an impact on health, mood, and sexuality.

This is a time for both women and their partners to learn about the changes that are occurring.

It helps a woman to know what to expect so she can be prepared for them and live positively through the experience.
